Hand-drawn animation 2012
A polar graph diagram is traced over and over again, always starting from the previous trace, transforming the original regular graph into a sinuous mesh of unordered lines resembling lace. Drawing acts as a mediator between the real and the virtual, or perhaps, between the human (as fallible, vulnerable, organic, analog) and the mechanical (automated, accurate, precise, digital).
