I work primarily with video, photography and drawing, and sometimes from found objects and images. My work researches the emotional dependency relation between person, object and image. I am interested in tensions between different image-making systems, analogue and digital technologies and how they affect the way we understand images.
Some of my works have connections with in scientific imagery. I seek to reflect upon what is accepted as real or artificial, and on the established systems and conventions to translate information and abstract data into natural-like images. I seek create a space where to question our individual and collective notions of loss and displacement, representation and communication.

/ Trabajo principalmente con video, fotografía y dibujo, y algunas veces partiendo de objectos e imágenes encontradas. Mi obra está basada en la relación de dependencia emocional entre persona, objecto e imagen. Me interesan las tensiones entre diferentes métodos de creación de imágenes, tecnologías analógicas y digitales y cómo afectan la menra en que entendemos una imagen.
Algunos de mis trabajos tienen conexiones con imagenes científicas. Intento reflexionar sobre lo que se acepta como real y artificial y sobre los sistemas establecidos para traducir información abstracta en imagenes de apariencia ‘natural’. Busco crear un espacio donde cuestionar nuestras nociones individuales y colectivas de pérdida y dislocación, representación y comunicación.
