Photographs, 2007
Series of photographs of a dollhouse. The dollhouse is an object loaded with a sense of nostalgia and intimacy. In these images I experiment with the composition, the light and colour to blur the boundaries between what is real and what artificial. The rooms seem to be in a limbo of ambiguity while the strangeness of the scale and the fragility of the hand-made quality evokes a sense of loss and displacement, inviting a dialogue between inside and outside, between presence and absence.

Serie de fotografías de una casa de muñecas. La casa de muñecas es un objeto cargado de nostalgia e intimidad. En estas imágenes experimento con la composición, la luz y el color para oscurecer las barreras entre lo real y lo artificial. Las habitaciones parecen estar en un limbo de ambiguedad mientras la extrañeza de la escala y la fragilidad de la calidad artesanal evoca un aire de pérdida y permutación, invitando un diálogo entre interior y exterior, entre presencia y ausencia.
