Drawing, 2016-onwards
Part of a new body of work commissioned by Macclesfield Barnaby Arts Festival in association with Jodrell Bank. Inspired by Jodrell Bank’s history, its relationship with its surrounding landscape and its significant role in the exploration of the Universe. The works, using with drawing and video, focus on the relationship between the local landscape surrounding Jodrell Bank and the remote places the telescope explores.
The Arborescope series focusses on the relationship between the local landscape surrounding Jodrell Bank and the remote places the telescope explores, suggesting impossible hybrids between nature and technology.
