Tip Toe

Photographs, 2007
I’m more interested in absence than presence, in silence than sound. This is a very personal series inspired in my own memories and feelings of someone else’s houses at night, walking as a child along dark rooms and corridors trying not to wake anybody up. Experimenting with model sets, inventing and recreating, the constructed rooms seems to be hold on a limbo of uneasiness. I tried to capture the rooms in the moment before someone turns the light on and destroys the mystery of the half-light shadows.
