Irresistible Distance

An image of stars, familiar enough. The initial effect of moving forwards through space is gradually replaced by the realisation that we are moving inwards – zooming into a still image. The view of stars transforms into a field of four-colour dots as the textures of the source print are revealed, . We are not travelling through stars, but through the micro world of the image itself.
