On Waiting

Series of photographs of a dollhouse. The dollhouse is an object loaded with a sense of nostalgia and intimacy. In these images I experiment with the composition, the light and colour to blur the boundaries between what is real and what artificial. The rooms seem to be in a limbo of ambiguity while the strangeness of the scale and the fragility of the hand-made quality evokes a sense of loss and displacement, inviting a dialogue between inside and outside, between presence and absence.
