pocagallery

pocagallery (2012-2020) was an art space I run in Portugalete (Spain) with the goal to disseminate, promote, collaborate and facilitate exchanges between local and international artists. It emerged from the need to create a connection between my two homes (Spain and the UK) to facilitate connections and dialogue between artists and to offer an varied exhibition programme of contemporary art, both from emerging and established artists. pocagallery also hosted various residencies for international artists in collaboration with East Street Arts and BilbaoArte. The visiting artists used the gallery space to develop a new project, experiment with new ideas, research and network with local artists.
