AA2A Residency, Leeds Beckett University
I am delighted to be an 2025/26 AA2A resident artist at Leeds Beckett University. My residency centres my project Dark Holding, an investigation into Whitby jet as a drawing material. So far, I have been experimenting with various printmaking and casting techniques.
AA2A (Artists Access to Art College) is an Arts Council England (ACE) Investment Principle Support Organisation (IPSO) that has been facilitating artists residencies since 1999. The programme fosters collaboration between further and higher education institutions and artists while supporting students as they transition from study to employment in the arts. Universities and colleges host up to six artists for one academic year, allowing artists the opportunity to use facilities and resources they may otherwise not be able to access.
