Arborescope

Work inspired by Jodrell Bank’s history, its relationship with its surrounding landscape and its significant role in the exploration of the Universe. Originally commissioned by Macclesfield Barnaby Arts Festival in collaboration with Jodrell Bank. These drawings suggest impossible hybrids between nature and human-made structures. The aged paper gives the drawings a fictional temporality, evoking botanical illustrations.
