Pulse

This animation was inspired by the research carried by the team at Lovell Telescope in Jodrell Bank, constantly scanning the skies, filtering whispers from outer space, extracting the inaccessible information hidden amongst the dark matter and the white noise. The work was part of a commission by Macclesfield Barnaby Festival in collaboration with Jodrell Bank. The pulsar recordings in the video have been provided by the Pulsar Group of the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics.
